The source of dreadful congestion and delays for many years, Highways England are now seeking your views on radical proposals to improve the interchange at junction 28 of the M25 with the A12 (Brook Street Roundabout).
Highways England have unveiled three proposals to reduce the amount of traffic using the Brook Street Roundabout by creating a dedicated slip road to take cars travelling northbound on the M25 and heading east into Essex.
The work, expecting to cost somewhere between £60m and £80m, is not expected to start until April 2020 by which time the hugely disruptive works schemes on the A13 and the Ardleigh Green Bridge (A127) should be long completed.
