School Streets Phase 2 Decision by Council

A decision by the Cabinet Member for Environment has been published by the council on the School Streets Phase 2 and they have decided to go ahead and approve the implementation of Permanent Traffic Orders from the existing Experimental Orders to support the operation of Phase 2 of the School Streets Scheme. Harold Wood councillors raised a number of concerns on this scheme to officers however they have decided to proceed with the following recommendations for the Redden Court School Scheme. These are below:

Redden Court School
 Stricter parking rules on Rosslyn Avenue
 Increase targeted enforcement on Rosslyn Avenue and Redden Court Road
 Relocation of the camera at the Coombe Road junction with Beltinge Road to
the Coombe Road junction with Redden Court Road.
 Anti-idling and drivers educational campaign to decrease number of instances
of inconsiderate parking.
