The ongoing works to replace the railway bridge at the junction of Ardleigh Green Road and the A12 is set to continue until the end of 2017.
It is estimated that the works will cost £32m and will be funded by Transport for London.
The main works will take place between mid 2016 and the end of 2017. During this period only two lanes will be operational (one lane in each direction). During the east (London) bound works, the exit from Bryant Avenue onto the A127 south eastbound will be closed for approximately nine months.
The new bridge will be higher than the existing one to allow for Crossrail trains in the future.
