Harold Wood Remembers

DSCN0592Residents, Councillors, veterans wearing medals and local groups were out in force at the Harold Wood Memorial Hall on Remembrance Sunday when wreaths were laid in remembrance of those service personnel who lost their lives during conflicts of the World War.

Wreaths were laid by the Royal British Legion, the Metropolitan Police, the Trustees of the Memorial Hall and the Harold Wood Residents Association and a short service was celebrated by local Vicar David Banting of St Peter’s Church.

Harold Wood ward Councillors Darren Wise and Alex Donald attended the service whilst their colleague Cllr Brian Eagling was undertaking his Mayoral duties in Romford.
