As residents may be aware, the waste and recycling collection service has been severely disrupted by the snow and ice. Although some collections have taken place, there have been many disruptions to normal collection schedules.
The Council will work with Serco, the refuse collector, to restore collections to normal as soon as possible but this is very weather dependent.
The advice to residents is that if normal collections have not taken place, then, if possible, store any missed waste securely within property boundaries overnight and re-present it by 7am the following morning.
