Local residents were delighted that the Council resurfaced part of Camborne Ave pavement after Harold Wood Councillor Darren Wise and his colleagues Cllr Brian Eagling and Cllr Martin Goode campaigned over the issue of hazardous pavements which was impacting the safety of one of our local residents Angela Armin who is partially sighted. Angela was absolutely delighted at the improvement and was so grateful to the Council and for the Harold Wood councillors in intervening in this matter as the previous surface was proving tricky and quite dangerous for her to navigate. Another local resident Marichel Salcedo was also delighted that the pavements outside her property were resurfaced and said that “we are so lucky to have Councillors that care about our community”.
Cllr Darren Wise said “we were so pleased that we could help this resident as we know and understand the challenges she faced and we are glad that the Council took on board our representations to get this resurfaced, so thank you Havering Council.
