Over 100 people attended a protest organised by a local resident Ian Jacobs in conjunction with the Harold Wood Hill Park Residents’ Association with regards to plans by Tesco to sell off part of its land to a Housing developer to develop 87 homes in the bottom car park which borders Whitelands Way and Bryant Ave. Local Harold Wood Councillors attended the event to advise local residents what they need to do in respect of objecting against the proposal which has been called in by the Councillors so that the planning application can be heard by the Planning Committee which will allow local Councillors and residents to raise their objections to the committee in due course.
