We would like to thank all of you who attended the Harold Wood Library consultation events and contributed with their ideas and suggestions in a professional and thoughtful manner.
Overall at both consultation events there were about 150 residents which is a brilliant turnout and we believe is the largest attendance of all the library consultation events across the Borough and on top of this we have approximately 1500 signatures on a petition which we will be handing into the Council this month.
We would like to set up an initial steering group where we can expand on these ideas, suggestions and proposals from our community as to how we can save our library from these financial budget cuts and we are also particularly keen to hear from businesses that may be able to help financially.
