The Canterbury Tales’ at The Little Theatre, Harold Wood  – Geoffrey Chaucer’s creation about storytelling pilgrims
‘The Canterbury Tales’ is a collection of stories written in Middle English by Geoffrey Chaucer. We are bringing you a new adaptation – in modern English – by Nick Warburton. Our Canterbury Tales, directed by Lucy Green, will feature The Knight’s Tale, The Miller’s Tale, The Wife of Bath’s Tale, The Pardoner’s Tale, The Friar’s Tale and The Franklin’s Tale. It will certainly be a lot of fun!
Performances are 8pm nightly on 17-20 June plus 2.30pm Saturday matinee. Tickets just £9 from guildonian-players.sumupstore.com or call 07762 133620 to reserve and pay on door.
This production is entered in the Havering Drama Festival of full length plays, run by Havering Arts Council, which Guildonians have won for the past two years with ‘Goodnight Mister Tom’ and ‘Leading Ladies’ – will it be a hat trick?!
