Over 200 people attended the remembrance day service at the new Memorial outside Harold Wood Library. In attendance were local Councillors, The British legion – Harold Wood Branch, Hornchurch and Upminster Sea Cadets, St Peter’s Church, Major Purvez Bhadruddin and Corporal Dave Treslove, 4th Battalion Parachute Regiment.

We held our 3rd Annual 5 mile charity race on Sunday 7th October, it was a beautiful Autumn day and Sir Trevor Brooking started the race for us.  We had a field of 190 runners on the day and we received amazing feedback and we raised in total £4,000

Your local Councillors have been walking the streets with officers advising them of various defects and these have all been reported below. Highway defects   Rosslyn Avenue               : Junction with Squirrels Heath Road – cracked paving Squirrels Heath Road     : opposite 174 – c/way pothole Birkdale Avenue
