There was a wonderful turnout of support at the recent meeting to hear the latest update on the progress to re open the library. The Harold Wood Foundation is currently negotiating a realistic rental agreement for a seven year lease with council officers. A formal request has also been submitted to the Planning Department to have the Library included on the local Heritage list which would give long term protection against any future development or demolition. Thank you to all our community for your support as we continue to move forward.
